チクタクチクタク時計の針は進む。私のご褒美の時間が近づいてくる。その時間ぴったりに、親友の春奈が迎えに来てくれた。
「ユキー！ あそこいくわよ！」
「はーい！」
仕事終わりに日頃の疲れを癒すため、私たちはいつもの場所、近くのスイーツバイキングへと歩み始める。
「ねね、今日新作出てるんだって！」
「嘘！ どんなの？」
「噂によると、サファイアをイメージした青いケーキらしいわ。」
「青いケーキ⁉ 珍しいのもあるんだね。宝石がイメージなら、綺麗なんだろうなぁ···」
青いケーキを想像しているうちに、目的地にたどり着いた。ドアを開けると、色とりどりのケーキのお出迎え。
「さぁ！ 今日も食べるわよ～！」
「おー！」
私たちは週に一回、ここでミニ女子会を開いている。だって女の子だもん。話したいことはたくさんあるし、すぐにたまる。お皿に可愛いスイーツをいっぱい盛って自分の席に戻ったらミニ女子会のスタート。もちろん青いケーキも忘れずに。
「そんでさ、私の彼氏が頑張りやさんな春奈にってくれたのなんだと思う？」
「う～ん···よくあるのは、有名ブランドのサービス券とかテーマパークの招待券だよね···？」
「全っ然違う！ カロリーメイトよカロリーメイト！」

「これ食って栄養つけろだってさ！」

春奈の彼氏さんには会ったことあるけど、そんな感じの人だとは思わなかったな···。でも、そういう人の方が一緒にいて面白かったりするんだよね。
「楽しそうでいいじゃない。」
「そういうユキはどうなのよ？」
「わ、私⁉ 私は特に何も···」
「嘘おっしゃい！ この前一緒に帰ってたの見たわよ！」
「あ、あれは、偶然一緒になっただけで···」
これは本当。私がバスに乗ろうとしたら声をかけられて、それの声の主が私の彼氏だった。彼は隣の部署だから、次の日めっちゃからかわれたんだっけ···。
「じゃ、本当に偶然なのね？」
「そうそう！」
「なぁんだ、つまんない。」
春奈はフォークで器用にケーキを切り分け、口に運びながら話している。
「面白さを私に求めないでよ。あ、青いケーキ食べた？」
「食べた食べた！ これソーダじゃない？」
「だよね！ そんな感じする！」
話題のケーキはスポンジケーキの間に生クリームとフルーツが挟んであって、一番上のゼリーみたいにぷるぷるしているのが透き通るような綺麗な青。まるで本当に宝石を食べているみたい。
「あとさ、出来立てのスイートポテトオススメだよ！ ホックホクなの！」
「知らなかった！ 出来立て狙わなきゃ！」
あのあと食べたスイーツの数は、今までで一番多かったと思う。春奈オススメ出来立てのスイートポテトに、とろけるチョコレートガナッシュに、口の中でパチパチ弾けるキャンディーに、ふわっふわのパンケーキに···とにかく数えきれないくらい食べた。その間のおしゃべりは止まらなかった。
二人で満足して帰る頃には、もう夜になっていた。
「こんな遅くまで外出歩いてたなんて、彼氏に言ったら起こられそうだな。」
「確かに、今までこんなことなかったもんね。」
「ユキの彼氏は大丈夫なの？」
「私んとこは大丈夫···多分。」
「いや多分じゃ危ないでしょ！」
春奈のツッコミが綺麗に決まる。
ちゃんと連絡はいれたよ？
「まったく、ユキは危なっかしいんだから···」
「大丈夫だよ！ 駅着いたら迎えに来てくれるって！」
「···彼氏さんがそういう人でよかったわ。」
「それどういう意味？」
「気にしないでいーの！ じゃ、駅まで気を付けてね？」
「うん！ ばいばーい、また明日ー！」
「また明日！」
春奈と別れて、駅を目指す。といっても、近くにあるからそんなに時間はかからない。私の頭の中は、この後彼氏とどんな話をするかでいっぱいだった。春奈に話してないこともあるし、タイミング合わなくて中々会えなかったからその分多くたまっている。
「あっ、あれは···」
壁にもたれてスマホをいじっている私の彼氏を発見。近くまで寄って少し驚かしてやった。そこからの話がいつもより盛り上がったのは言うまでもない。
